Have you ever belonged to a team that just isn’t “working”? While the required work might be getting done, there seems to be something off with the interactions, team spirit, and overall cohesion? If not, you are lucky! I’ve certainly landed myself on these teams both in the workplace and in life. I wish at that time that I, or my managers, had known about the TESI®.
TESI® stands for Team Emotional and Social Intelligence®. Being the first scientifically validated team Emotional Intelligence assessment in the world, it helps a team to recognize their EI strengths and weaknesses. When your team takes the assessment, not only do you get to see your own results compared to your team, but also you get to examine the teams EI as a whole.
So how does it work? Members of Bauman Consulting Group that have taken extensive training on the assessment will administer both the assessment and the results to you and your team. Also, rest assured, all results are confidential, leaving any and all identifying factors out when presented to the group.
Why is it special? The TESI® takes a detailed look at all aspects of team EI, from conflict resolution skills to motivation. By recognizing that there are seven areas that are of equal importance, the TESI® is an all-inclusive assessment to give you and your team the best idea of your EI.
The seven specific areas that are all needed to have an emotionally intelligent team include:
- Positive Mood
- Team Identity
- Emotional Awareness
- Stress Tolerance
- Conflict Resolution
The results are broken down into 5 demographics to try to find where the variances are present. These demographics are:
If you think that your team could benefit from this, or are simply interested in seeing how you score, please contact us at email@example.com. We would love to work with you and your team to decide on how to move forward with the results.
